ALEWIFE BREWING Co. - Frau Holle -

OK! this was DARK, and unique... the gents at ALEWIFE keep coming with the cosmic brews. This one, Frau Holle (No clue what that means) is an American Dark Lager. This is for sure a unique beer with it not being a stout, the flavors go deep in this crisp, tasty, and delightful beer. It definitely grows on you. I personally hopped off because the coffee bean taste. I just dislike coffee and never drink it, so to like a beer brewed with the bean makes it impossible. Putting that aside it is a very nice beer.
