UPWARD BREWING of Livingston Manor NY

Taking a trip to our local brewery here in Livingston Manor NY. Today we get to enjoy the beautiful outdoors at Upward Brewing @upward.brewing This brewery is set on the hillside of the Catskill mountains and a perfect place to sit back, drink some brews, enjoy the views, and fire pit at this perfect countryside brewery. I love the look and design work of the brewery, the food menu is on point, and the acres of land to go hike, walk around, sit at the fire pit, or just chill in the taproom. This brewery offers a lot more than a typical brewery and scores major points for that.

Let us talk beer now, Overall it is not bad, it is much more German-style influenced beer-making vs the northeast IPA trend that is happening. The make some classic style ales, and produce clear crisp beers, though my beer in this review was flat because the taps were tapped… (shit happens) but I have been back and the beer was on point. Overall I am not a big fan of European style beers so I didn’t love the IPA’s I had. I definitely will be back to try some other crafty beers that make and to just enjoy the beautiful brewery and views. and some snacks from the local kitchen.
