My Blue YJ is named Twisted but the JT doesn't have a name yet! Nothing has stuck to it yet

1990 Jeep Wrangler (YJ) & 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon (JT)

WHAT YEAR IS IT?

1990, 2020

HOW DID YOU FIRST GET INTO JEEPS?

My dad brought home a YJ when I was 8 and I spent a lot of time in the garage with him helping out by holding tools. As I grew up, I started participating more and more! When I turned 16, my dad gave me the YJ and I still own it to this day. I lucked out and married a guy that's also into Jeeps so we got our Gladiator 2 years ago and it has taken us so many amazing places together!

WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE THE COLOR OF YOUR JEEP?

The blue one is the color it's always been but it'll get a face-lift eventually! The white one was our top choice because white hides scratches and body damage better than most other colors and we always intended to wheel it.

HAVE YOU DONE ANY UPGRADES? AND IF SO, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

YJ: 5.2L V8 swapped with a Ford 8.8 in rear axle. It's got a 2in lift and 31in tires JT: 2.5 in lift, 35in tires and onboard air. I plan to step up to a 4.5in lift I the next year!

WHAT IS THE CRAZIEST PLACE YOU HAVE TAKEN YOUR JEEP?

Probably Imogene Pass in Colorado. The trail is carved out of a cliff in some places and the views are incredible!

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR JEEP NEXT?

Sand Hollow is top of my list for a future trip!

4.5 in lift for the JT!

DO YOU DO THE UPGRADES OR DO YOU TAKE IT TO A SHOP? IF SO WHICH SHOP?

I do the upgrades myself. I grew up working on Jeeps and married a mechanic. We have most of the tools we need to make it happen!

IF YOU CAN RECOMMEND ONE THING FOR JEEPERS, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Onboard air. It doesn't seem like it, but that has been the best upgrade we've done. Having the freedom to air down had made the ride more enjoyable and allowed us to go through harder obstacles and deeper snow

WHAT MADE YOU START YOUR JEEP INSTA PAGE?

I wanted to have a space to spam my jeep photos without driving my family and friends crazy!

Nothing planned in 2021, but starting to plan out 2022 so stay tuned!
