Getting into this Little Devil by Red Barn Brewing out of Danville, Vermont.
So we dove nose first in to this citra and mosaic hopped beer by a small batch Vermont brewery. We loved the first reaction and love the color and body that this beer held.
However, the taste and lack of flavor was hard to understand, where did it go, everything was working for this brew and then it just flat lined. We did discover we got catfished with the can by buying an almost two year old beer, stores should check their shelves when thirsty buys shop with their eyes and not their brains to check the made on date.
Unfortunately we are hopping off this one, but we do want to go back and check it out in person.
from them…
Evil’s little brother – just not as strong and takes a different hops direction employing generous amounts of Mosaic hops. A nice alternative if you don’t want a very high ABV IPA.
ABV - 6.8%
