LOCK CITY BREWING - OJ on Parole - New England Style IPA

Lock City Brewing Company @lockcitybrewing out of Stamford CT. OK, so why is it called Lock City! apparently back in the 19th and early 20th century, Stamford was the home to the biggest lock producers in the country, 40% of the community was employed by the factory. in the 1950s the company left the city leaving them with its notorious name “Lock City”

Ok So now lets talk beer. OJ on Parole, Yup we are taking a ride with OJ Simpson in his Ford Bronco with this Orange Juice inspired brew from Lock City Brewing. The color is a beautiful Golden Tangerine Cloud, Obviously, the beer will be an orange hint. Oddly enough it wasn’t overwhelming orange-flavored, and I really wanted it to be. This is a great beer, but why would you not make it more fruity. The beer is amazing, I would just switch the name. It is a smooth easy drinking beer that is clean crisp and enjoyable, you can’t feel the 6.2% ABV.
