Rogue Ales Brewery - Just A Pinch Sour Ale

Rogue Ales Brewery @rogueales - This is a S-O-U-R… Wow, I need to get used to these sours because if you haven’t tried sour’s… let this be your warning. I personally am not a sour guy but there is something addictive about it. This is JUST A PINCH, a Sour Sessions Ale that is very tart which I am surprised with the IBU. The bitterness scale should be high if it is Tart and Sour. I dig the color and the sessions side of this beer, there is something very good about this beer, something keeps bringing me back to drink more of it.

They say it is a salty beer however I didn’t pick up much of the salts. this is a straight-up sour ale and a good one at that, it is not too fruity nor overly powering sour where you just can’t drink it.

With our brewery sitting on the Pacific Ocean, all that salt air went to our heads and had us dreaming of a cold, refreshing salty-sour ale. So, we went out on the water and hand-harvested our own Yaquina Bay sea salt to brew the beer of our dreams. Tart and with a pinch of salt, this beer reminds us of our home.
